About us is the Performance Blogging System where we recruit new members to help us market the free links we receive once we join.
About me-I am a Financial Management Analyst by day working on a retirement plan. At PBS I get to utilize my professional skills in Accounting, Some Coding, 508 Compliance, Leading Change and more. In my career as an Analyst, I am always looking for ways to improve processes, cleaner ways to operate, training and implementation just comes naturally to me. I also do a lot of writing.
I must confess that even with my analytical mindset, I struggled when it came to writing blog post. Posting links were easy. Learning how to write pages to drive traffic and meet SEO demands was an unexpected challenge for me. The best way to turn that challenge into a success was for me to join our “pay it forward” mentality and become an instructor.
We are a collaborative effort that are paying it forward. Someone helped me, I want to help you, and in turn, we want you to help the next person, when you’re ready of course.

My journey into affiliate marketing is driven by a financial mission. I am not of retirement age yet, I am planning and setting up for my retirement future. Enter the PBS, I joined to create a passive income. My site is built on transforming a challenge, much like my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio—a city of hidden gems, from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to the best Soul Food secret.
I’ll walk you through how to navigate my site to find wonderful things in our community. You’ll l find a free affiliate marketing course/advice, information on savings highway global, comfort food low calorie recipes and of course a shout out to my home town Cleveland Ohio, home of Lebron James (Akron’s 45 minutes from downtown Cleveland), One of the Great Lakes- Lake Erie, The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, and so much more. No longer the mistake on the lake. Now the best kept secret of one of the Great Lakes- we should be on the map for our Cleveland Soul food! About My Affiliate Mistakes I Made So You Don’t Have To!
Let’s start with transparency- Yes you can start affiliate marketing with no money, I did. The right question to ask is, will you be successful? For me this is not a yes or no answer. I was “somewhat” successful. I got a few “hits” meaning people visited my page. I made a whopping $.64 on my Trending Products on Amazon page. It wasn’t much, but it proved successful, someone clicked, bought, and I earned. Temu kept stating, “here’s a thank you gift for the traffic I generated for them, but I made no money. I was definitely not on the path to get rich quick but still I count this as “somewhat successful.”
Not so long after that, I received several calls from an unknown number, I thought it was probably a pesty telemarketer. Needless to say I ignored the call. One Saturday morning going through bills and needing a break, I started clearing out my emails. There was one that stood out. There were no typos, it seemed legit, it stated, “Hello, my name is Jo, you came into our program to make money posting ads online. I am the one that gets to show you how this works and I will be working with you constantly along the way.”
This is what I’ll describe as a light bulb moment. I realized this is what’s missing. I needed a proven system and personalized training to show me the ropes. It’s one thing to read about SEO, it’s brilliant to have it demonstrated . All the owner of the PBS system asked, not even required, is that I show up for training and study halls.
After going through my bills and feeling that a little extra money on the side could help, I thought, I’ll go ahead and respond. A year later here I am paying it forward by offering training to newcomers free of charge. I am also using this as my retiremetime strategy. I’ve never been good and pay check to pay check. The shopaholic in me need to be able to know I’ll be able to continue this addiction.
So, to answer the question, can you start affiliate marketing with no money. Yes, but you’re not going to get very far. You need a team of trainers, a small investment in yourself, and a willingness to learn the process from the ground up. Going this route, will lead to a lifestyle change if you don’t give up too quickly. Remember Rome was not built in a day!
